Os Hope Of The States confirmaram a sua separação. Após a realização do seu 2º álbum, 'Left', o sucessor do brilhante 'The Lost Riots', os HotS afirmam que se sentem orgulhosos do trabalho efectuado, agradecendo (obviamente) a todos os fãs que os suportavam bem como todos aqueles que aclamaram o seu trabalho. A decisão foi tomada logo após as duas (espantosas) actuações do grupo nos Festivais de Reading e Leeds (Carling).

Eu até gostava deles... embora o álbum 'Left' deixasse um bocadinho a desejar, pelo menos por comparação ao primeiro.
