[TOP TRACKS 2016] 9. The xx | On Hold

Na continuação da lista das minhas músicas preferidas de 2016, embora dar mais um salto no número de temas a divulgar, começando hoje a entrar na recta final com o levantamento do véu dos 10 temas do ano.

Na posição #11, espaço para os Operators com o tema "Cold Light", tema que integrou o alinhamento do álbum 'Blue Wave', um dos 10 grandes álbuns de 2016, na minha opinião.

Para o 10º lugar, mais um lugar de destaque para uma banda portuguesa, os White Haus, que trouxeram muita alegria e sorrisos com o tema "This Is Heaven", retirado do álbum 'Modern Dancing', um dos grandes álbuns nacionais de 2016.

Para a posição #9, o grande single dos The xx, "On Hold", alinhado no futuro álbum da banda, 'I See You', com data prevista de edição a 13 de Janeiro de 2017. Parece que desta vez, voltaram a acertar o passo.

[TOP TRACKS 2016] 22. Wilco | Just Say Goodbye

Mais de metade da lista dos temas a ter em conta no ano de 2016 está divulgado e hoje vamos subir mais uns quantos lugares na tabela para rapidamente chegarmos ao fim desta odisseia musical. É que ainda faltam muitos temas!

Em 24º lugar aparecem os Digitalism com o tema "Go Time", retirado do mais recente álbum deste duo alemão, 'Mirage'. "Go Time" é um fabuloso tema que electrifica a pista a qualquer momento.

Na posição #23 encontramos os já sobejamente conhecidos Teenage Fanclub com o tema "I'm in Love", retirado do mais recente trabalho da banda, o álbum 'Here', por mim considerado como um dos 20 melhores álbuns de 2016.

Em 22º lugar, chega também uma banda que tem o seu álbum de 2016 na lista dos 20 melhores  do ano. Estou a referir-me aos Wilco e o tema que vai ajudar a engrossar a massa antes deste bolo ir ao forno chama-se "Just Say Goodbye", retirada do álbum 'Schmilco', um álbum que se recomenda (nunca é tarde recordar).

White Haus no 11º Aniversário do Kraak FM

Eis que chega mais um dia 26 de Maio... este ano, feriado nacional, dia em que rigorosamente todos os anos nasce um post para assinalar o aniversário deste blog. No caso particular deste ano marca o primeiro ano após ter assinalado uma década de existência em 2015, ou seja, já lá vão 11 anos de Kraak FM.

Quando estava à procura de uma imagem para ilustrar o número 11, encontrei alguma informação sobre o número 11 em si. Para além de ser o primeiro dos chamados números mestre, diz que é um número espiritual e magnético. O que é um facto é que este blog, ao longo destes 11 anos, tem vindo sempre a primar pela tolerância e aceitação de todas as opiniões, mas nunca esquecendo o seu verdadeiro ideal, pois para que haja firmeza nas palavras que por aqui escrevo, não basta que este blog tenha nome de rádio como dizem e já referi desde sempre. Volto a dizer que um dos factores importantes é que ele siga a sua trajectória sonora amplamente divulgada ao longo de todo estes anos. Por este motivo e uma vez mais, um verdadeiro Obrigado a todos os visitantes, bloggers, amigos, novos amigos e seguidores deste blog que têm permitido que o mesmo ainda exista em 2016, verdade seja dita, à custa de algum sacrifício.

Embora os blogs e, em particular, os musicais, estejam fora de moda, é através desta plataforma que muita gente leva novidades e opiniões para as redes sociais e outras aplicações. Muito já se disse ao longo destes 11 anos e, embora sem comentários reflectidos em cada um dos artigos, fico satisfeito por ver muita partilha pelo Facebook e outras plataformas sociais similares.

Uma vez mais, um grande agradecimento a todos os amigos, bloggers e visitantes que continuam a manter este blog vivo e (já) a caminho do seu 12º ano de existência!

Para assinalar a data, fica aqui um tema que gosto bastante de White Haus (projecto a solo de João Vieira, o vocalista, guitarrista e compositor dos X-Wife), "This Is Heaven", o mais recente single lançado em Fevereiro de 2016.

Tensão Sexual com os Holy Fuck e o Tema "Xed Eyes"

Há pouco tempo tinha anunciado o regresso ds canadianos Holy Fuck que desde 2010, com o álbum 'Latin', não editavam nenhum álbum de originais. Com esta notícia, veio também o tema de avanço do novo álbum 'Congrats', de nome "Tom Tom".

Hoje temos por cá mais uma novidade musical retirada de 'Congrats'. Trata-se do tema "Xed Eyes" e, como habitual, uma mistura deliciosa de vários géneros musicais, vozes distorcidas, uma espécie de música plena de ansiedade e tensão sexual que às tantas não sabes se dali deves entrar no jogo ou sair discretamente por um buraco que se abra no chão.

Quem também está de regresso este ano são os canadianos Holy Fuck que desde 2010, com o álbum 'Latin', não editavam nenhum álbum de originais.

Há pouco tempo revelaram um tema novo, "Tom Tom", que fará parte do alinhamento do novo álbum de nome 'Congrats' que será editado a 27 de Maio.

Já aqui abaixo, podemos ouvir em antecipação um dos temas, o referido "Tom Tom'.

[TOP TRACKS 45-2015] 22. New Order | People on the High Line

Após uma pausa na divulgação da minha lista pessoal das melhores músicas de 2015, regresso para mais uma voltinha por este passeio musical acrescentando mais alguns temas a esta imensa lista.

Com os pés assentes na Alemanha, a lista engrandece com Digitalism e o tema "Second Chance" na posição #27, seguindo de imediato para o continente americano para encontrar Twin Shadow e o seu "I'm Ready" em 26º lugar, Deerhunter com "Snakeskin" no lugar número 25, os DIIV com "Dopamine" na posição #24 e em 23º lugar, os Protomartyr (banda revelação de 2015) com o tema "Why Does It Shake?", presente no álbum 'The Agent Intellect', um dos grandes discos de 2015. 

De volta à Europa, há aqui um excelente motivo para viajar até ao Reino Unido e encontrar os New Order com o tema "People on the High Line", presente no álbum 'Music Complete' (um dos álbuns a ter em consideração para este ano). "People on the High Line" pode ser abaixo ouvido e integra esta lista musical de 2015 no 22º lugar.
